      Much of the attention and care goes to your pALS, understandably.  However, it is equally important to take care of your own mental and physical needs. You need to get rest, exercise, take mental health breaks and still manage the increasing responsibilities of a caregiver. In regard to your mental health, have you talked to a counselor or attended a support group?  How did you find a counselor who specializes (or did they need to specialize) in caregiving/terminal illness? How would you compare the benefits from individual counseling to a support group?
