    Genetic study with ALS patients

    A recent genetic study performed on ~11,000 patients with Autism spectrum disorder revealed a new insight ASD. This study identified 102 genes may play role in ASD.  Since, ALS seems complicated too and ~ 80% are sporadic, is there a similar genetic study underway in the USA or anywhere else to identify its complexity?
