  Optikey is a free suite of Windows applications that allow you to communicate and use your computer using only your eyes. The Optikey app family offers communication apps, mouse control and full typing and computer control.

  Optikey was written to challenge the outrageously expensive, unreliable and difficult to use AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) products on the market. It is, therefore, fully open-source and free. Forever.

  [Although I have a Tobii device for outings (it’s durable),  I really prefer Optikey Pro which I have on my desktop]
