Thank you for listening again. To continue from my last post I had my 2nd emg done abut 3 weeks ago. Similar findings as first emg but with some active motor fiber loss at the left lumbar and left thumb index finger muscle found now . In person appt with neuromuscular doctor tells me no motor neuron disease. Didn’t do a physical Neuro assessment this time but during past exams I have hyperflexia and Hoffman’s signs. Painful tight muscles continue hard to walk. And so on and so on. Don’t want to rant we all have our stuff to deal with. Just don’t think I’m getting any answers. Acupuncture and massage when they perform it they say where you hurt isn’t L5 myotome areas. Each day I feel worse nothing helps. My ? Please should I continue to get a possible diagnosis. For whatever this is. Or just wait and see when something falls out of my hand or I fall. Any direction would help. Not looking for diagnosis but at one visit Dr told me ALS is possible.
