Short Bio |
I’m 64. Symptoms started March 2013 with weakness in my hand. Didn’t get seen by a neurologist until June 2014. I was pretty certain I had ALS. It started causing weakness in my left arm which I can no longer raise and has moved to my right arm which I can barely raise. The rest of my body is pretty normal. I can walk miles, no swallowing, speech or breathing issues. I can still drive although sharp turns and putting on a seat belt are difficult. I have consulted a few neurologists to make sure I have ALS.
