My husband was aligned with an ALS clinic. Our first reaction was optimism about getting started with care. It was difficult to accept that you are actually on your own. Then he could not get a good grip on his golf club. He grew weaker. He was fatigued. And the unintended weight loss was occurring simultaneously. It took a long time to get a diagnosis. He is able to use a Trilogy 100 for his breathing at night.
