I was just diagnosed with ALS last week. I’m a wife and mother in a precious blended family, and they are my very essence. I’m also blessed with an amazing extended family and circle of friends. My first grandchild will arrive in a few months. I love my life and strive to keep Christ at its center.

I earned my BA in English Literature and have had client service and management careers in the insurance industry, veterinary field, and non-profit sector, serving youth and the military community.

Trips to the mountains and ocean bring me immense joy and peace. Wine tasting trips with friends are just plain fun!  I meet my challenges with optimism and consider myself an overcomer, however this overwhelming diagnosis is shaking me to my core and I still can’t quite believe it. I pray for the strength, inspiration and resources to get us through this with grace.
