I also experienced extreme fatigue when taking Riluzole. I stopped taking it after about 8 weeks and inmediately felt better. I won’t tame it again.

I was diagnosed with ALS in May of this year and started Riluzole a few weeks later. After about 6 weeks I stopped taking it to find out if the medication was the cause of my extreme fatigue. I had no energy at all, spent most of the day on the couch.
I felt like a different person after I stopped the Riluzole, being my old, active self again.…[Read more]

I started taking Riluzole 4 weeks ago and I have not experienced any side effects.

Hi, thank you for accepting me. I am 67 years old and was diagnosed with ALS 3 weeks ago. My symptoms, muscle atrophy and weakness, started in my left hand and arm. I was started on Riluzole but declined Radicava for now.

Thank you for sharing! I am in somewhat of the same situation although not in the coping phase yet. I was diagnosed 1 week ago And I am still thinking: This can’t be true!
