Short Bio |
I am 53 and living a happy and fulfilling life for 26 years with ALS (22 years on trache ventilation). I got married a year after my diagnosis and we have three daughters, two since venting and I discovered a fourth daughter I never knew existed from my teenage years in 2017. She immediately gave me three granddaughters and a son-in-law too. I achieved a lifelong educational goal in 2011 by graduating with two master’s degrees from the University of Michigan. It was a full-time, online program. My biggest personal accomplishment was publishing my memoir, Living as a Dead Man, in 2019. It is available in Kindle, paperback, and hardback.
