Thanks so much for your responses. My BIL certainly has a lot of visitors and love surrounding him. I just know that because so much has been taken from him so quickly (he was diagnosed in April and no longer can talk and losing mobility) he feels alone in this awful experience. I am not the primary caregiver for S, who is my sister’s husband. My sister is his caregiver but I am very close to them and their four kids and sometimes I feel so helpless. Scotty, you could always ask your BIL if he would be interested. I can look to see if there are Facebook groups or other social media sites where he could communicate with other pALS. He is also welcomed to join the discussions here too.

sometimes the problem with taking so many supplements is that they can make you feel sick and tired, in high doses and with certain combinations. Anyone else experience that?

I’m wondering if anyone has experienced (or a caregiver has witnessed) a terrible reaction to riluzole resulting in days and days of nausea and fatigue?
