I was diagnosed with ALS in November of 2015.  I am still able to walk (sort of) albeit very slowly, carefully and with a death grip on the rollator.  For outings I use a portable power wheelchair.  I am just beginning to have symptoms in my arms and hands.  Breathing, eating, swallowing are still good………..
