Tecla is for anyone who finds it difficult to use an iOS or Android touchscreen device. This includes people who have their mobility limited, especially their upper-body – such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients.
Get Tecla is the youtube channel of The Tecla Shield, which is an assistive device that allows people who have limited upper-body mobility to easily access their iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, tablet, or any other touchscreen device by simply using switches located on their wheelchair driving controls or assistive devices.
In this video shared in 2015, we can see exactly how the device works and how it can be adapted to several situations and people with different mobility problems (such as multiple sclerosis patients, people with spinal cord injuries, and cerebral palsy among others).
