I just retired from working at age 65.  I was very active in sports continuing to play hockey until I was 64 years of age.  I had to give it up because I began having balance issues.  I didn’t know why until I started slurring my speech.  This was about three months after I retired.  I was diagnosed with ALS last October.  It’s been a learning and adapting situation ever since.
