I was a school based speech pathologist until October. I started loosing my balance in school. I went to see an orthopedic doctor, she told me it’s not a bone issue. I called U of Pennsylvania hospital to see a neurologist, earliest was February, I called back, asked for ALS Neurologist, got appointment in 3 weeks. My father died from ALS 44 years ago, my sister had FTD/ALS, she passed away 2 years ago.  When I saw Dr. Ellman she said it was ALS. I had a MRI and an EMT besides blood tests, I have the familial version, C9 marker. It’s progressing slowly.  I do prayers , I say mantras I started crocheting a kimono for my DI, I am halfway through. I am also taking piano lessons online. I am also raising succulent plants they only need water every week. You can try painting with a paintbrush between your lips,  l
