Hello friends. Name is Rick and I am 80 years old . I was diagnosed with ALS in 2022. Symptoms first began appearing in 2020. Currently, I am still able to function independently with regard to most matters, although both my arms and hands have weakened. I use Radicava and Riluzole, supplemented with a mushroom formulation called the ‘Stamets Stack’. You can find more out about it by searching under that name. The formula was developed by Paul Stamets, likely the most well known mycologist in the U.S. I don’t know whether the mushrooms are truly slowing progression or if my form of ALS is just more slowly progressive. My doctors said to keep it up so long as my progression maintains its current pace. I wish you all the very best and look forward to more postings on this link.
