- I was diagnosed after working 37 1/2 years as a RDN at Kennedy Health System. I had bilateral total knee replacements and never regained my strength in my left leg. Orthopedic Surgeon recommended I see a Physiatrist. Next a Neurologist did testing and diagnosed me with ALS. I went to Penn ALS Clinic and Johns Hopkins to confirm the diagnosis. I have slowly progressing lower extremity ALS. My medications include Ritrizole and Radicava. I appreciate all the excellent educational materials.
