Hi, my name is Debbie Jacobs (maiden name Davis).  I was originally from Southern California, born and raised in the Gardena/Torrance area.  Moved to Glendale, then to Highland and the last 24 years in Upland, CA.  We left Upland in 2018 and traveled in our RV for about 8 months and settled here in South Central Kentucky.  We love Kentucky and the people.  I was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS in July 2020, just a couple months ago.  So far I am doing great !  I am also blessed to have a husband and family who love me and support me.  Most importantly I have God on my side.  I know he planned this journey for me and he  has his purpose.  Of course I may momentarily disagree with his plans on this trip, but I pray I will always keep him upper most in my mind knowing this is  his plan.
