Diagnosed with limb onset (left leg) in late 2019. Left leg limp started one year before diagnosis. Muscle twitching started in the Spring of 2019 . Subtle changes in my speech started in the summer of 2019. Went out on disability in January 2020. Retired August 2020. Symptoms have steadily progressed.

Currently my nutrition comes through a feeding tube as my swallowing ability continued to deteriorate. After 3 falls, I now get around using my power wheelchair only. My speech is not discernible so iIrely on typing to communicate. I used Model Talker software to record my voice over a year ago. I can play messages and text in my own voice. I am using an Eyegaze Edge tablet and my own laptop to communicate and keep my mind stimulated,. I am not yet using the eyesight function on the Eyegaze tablet.
