I was diagnosed with Sporadic ALS in December 2019 at The Mayo Clinic.  I’m currently enrolled in an ALS Clinic.  The test that confirmed  the diagnosis was the EMG.  I did not have a Neuro test.  My ALS has started with a respiratory problem and along with being tired and weakness. I use a portable Astral 150 ventilator usually 24/7, but I’m still mobile. It has an 8 hour internal battery , which allows me the freedom to move around. My diaphragm does not work properly which has reduced my lungs effectiveness.
