69 years old male. Semi retired engineer. sold my business in January 1 2024 and the world has been a mess since. I was diagnosed at University of Michigan with ALS march 7, 2024. was hoping it was a misdiagnose because I have bad back. Still early can walk and do most everything just a loss in strength, hand dexterity, twitching, some cramping, funny feelings and hand shaking. but it is accelerating . I suspect I’ve had it since sometime 2022. Had my hip replaced in October 2023. was feeling great but in October I noticed loss of strength in my left had and twitching. The anxiety is unbelievable. and it is increased because my daughter is getting married in three weeks.
