Short Bio |
I was diagnosed with ALS (bulbar) last June 2019. Since then I have lost most of my speaking ability and have a great deal of trouble swallowing. In January I had a feeding tube placed in my tummy and I cannot eat much by mouth. I take ice cream to swallow my pills. I don’t have any trouble with mobility so far. I am interested in anything that may slow my process down. I have a good spirit most of the time and a good sense of humour which helps! If anyone can give me advice on this bulbar type and what is needed from me to slow it down, that would be great.
