Hi,
My name is Sonovia Horace. I’m 52 years old. I was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. I go to the ALS Clinic at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. I have two sisters, Norma & Lynette Horace. They take real good care of me. I live with Lynette (the oldest). Norma (the youngest) is a home health aide. She takes care of me in the day time. I no longer have use of my arms and legs. I have difficulty talking. My sisters are the only ones who can understand what I’m saying. I’m able to communicate with my family and friends using the Tobii Dynavox device. I enjoy this device. It gives me independence. Every now and then, I hang out with my friends!
