My husband was diagnosed with ALS 7 years ago. Being here on our own with no other family members, I became his only caregiver. I am also a clinical scientist who has also worked in the personalized medicine field.  I am constantly looking for alternative ways that can help him cope with his symptoms and slow his decline, since mainstream medicine for this disease has been nothing but disappointing.
