I was a Special Ed teacher for 18 years . I was going to keep working but in October of 1999 I was going to an October Fest dance and walking down the driveway I hit a hole and my right ankle went to the right . So that ‘s when the doctors said it started. Before that I did everything,  my husband had open heart surgery 4 years ago.  We were ballroom dancers.

So I am in studies at the ALS center in Miami.  So they took blood  and in April they told me I had 9C orf  familial  ( yes my dad had it in the 80’s)

So they put me on rilosole, and  because of COVID had zoom meeting,
