i was diagnosed in April 2023, probably had it a year or so before that. i started sounding like i was drunk. at first i found it funny. then went to see a neurologist, never thinking it would be any big. WRONG. my life with my dear wife was changed so quickly and so much. for me it is almost all bulbar thus far. and it has definitely been worsening. though i can still swallow, i get choked by liquids a lot. my wife can still understand me though it require a good bit of repeating and generic hand signals. i feel very sympathetically for our shared issues and hope a lot of us will be around for cure.
