Diagnosed with ALS officially in 11/2021. From records of my deficits, it appears I have had symptoms for at least 15-20 years. The reason it was missed for so long is that I lost the use of my left side in 1974 due to bleeding in the brain, regained almost all, but always had some deficits. ALS first appeared in these areas.
