First diagnosis, April 12, 2016. Second, confirming, diagnosis 2017. Very strongly upper motor neuron predominance, which has equated to very slow progression. Still ambulatory, with a rollator. However, I do believe my days in a wheelchair are not too far off.
I had a 40-year career as a Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor. About half-way through that career, I returned to Seminary part-time and was ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1988. I still serve at a very small congregation about an hour north of my home.
