My birthday was May 23, 2021. I turned 55 years old and I was diagnosed with ALS in 2017. Looking forward to a long life with ALS.

Hello Dagmar. I was diagnosed Feb 27 2017 with ALS. Mine is familial, the c9orf72 gene.

Hello Amanda. I too have familial ALS. My Grandmother on my fathers side had the c9orf72 gene. I have 8 that have passed in my family from ALS and Frontal lob dementia.
