Undiagnosed: (20+) military, (43) years Martial Arts, very active… up to about a year ago. Lungs are losing major ground, muscles are diminishing rapidly (weight loss by 10+lbs in the last few months. Fatigue unbearable, joint pains recently, loss of a Pipefitter’s grip for over (20) years. Swallowing ruining my favorite hobby of eating still 170lbs, and holding. Appetite is diminished due to intestinal degradation, not even wanting to deal with consumption.
Looking to stay tuned with this forum, working with the VA to further treat (hah!) and ultimately diagnose this demon.
My Beatify Mother and Grandmother were diagnosed with ALS the Rochester Mayo, so inquiring into costs to be seen there, $5,000 deposit with uncertainty of further funds needed. Not feasible with only the VA health coverage. Her (4) boys handled her hospice, my signs are absolute and consistent with hers, less often handed down from parents, hmmn!
