The diagnosis of Als was quite a shock. No history in my family. It started with changes in my voice and I went through all kinds of test till they ruled out other conditions Finally I was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS. I’ve been to one ALS clinic and I’m scheduled to go to another one in 2 weeks. The neurologist told me I was in the slow progression. I’ve lost most of my voice but I use notes, speech assist, emails and texts. I’m blessed that I can still drive, cook and shop. Praise God.
