      We’ve discussed the stress related to caring for a loved one with ALS in the past. Now, with the pandemic and sheltering at home, it is even more important to focus on self-care too! It is very difficult for some caregivers to ask for or accept help. Now, in many cases, help cannot come into the home because of COVID-19. Have you found any new or creative ways to destress or take care of yourself? Below is a link to information that the Mayo Clinic provided about caregivers and self-care. Keep in mind that some of it cannot take place under the present conditions we are living in.  If you have found some new ways to destress please share? If you have been able to get support in the home what obstacles did you have to overcome?
