I was born in New Jersey but also grew up in Vermont. I moved to Minnesota to go to college and stayed there until 1983 and then married my first wife from Quebec and lived in Ottawa, Ontario. The marriage did not work out so I moved back to S. Paul, MN 1988 but obtained dual citizenship. Then I married again in the 1990’s and have been happily married to my wife here in Bloomington, IN. I have been a musician since my childhood as well as a professional musician since my college age.

| How long have you or the person that you are caring for had ALS? |
Last Summer of 2020 I began to feel weakness in my right hand. I received my ALS diagnosis from a Neurologist in October. Now this Summer, 2021, even though I have seen an occupational therapist my left arm has weakened and fatigue every day is a challenge.
