Was diagnosed in August 2018. I am the 7th relative on my Mother’s side of the family to have ALS. Currently on Riluzole and Radicava, which has definitely helped but of course am continuing to slowly decline. I am truly blessed to have the greatest husband in the world, and extremely devoted family and friends. I am also extremely grateful that this diagnosis was not a surprise.
I truly feel feel so terribly saddened that 90-95% of ALS patients have no experience or knowledge of why this devastating disease occurred.
