Spent 72 years living an active life – never sick even with the flu.  Then came the dx.  Don’t plan to give in or give up.

I’m a retired Speech-Language-Pathologist, having worked with preschoolers for 20 years.  I am thankful for many, many supportive and loving friends and family.  Additionally, I’m thankful that I found this Forum and that I live near the Duke Healthcare System.
