First symptoms 2 years ago which were bulbar. I stopped jogging in October 2018 and 3 weeks later saw my thigh fasciculating. Went to the ALS center and was not diagnosed. In March 2019 saw a non-ALS neurologist who also failed to diagnose. Two days later I saw an ENT and speech pathologist. The ENT detected my tongue was fasciculating and told me he believed it had a neurological cause. Earliest appointment with ALS neurologist was in early June and that is when I received the diagnosis. I’m still working, talking, eating, walking, but everything is different.
