When friends ask, “How can I help?”
Announce to the world that you have ALS, and most folks are completely baffled about what is expected of them. At the time, I didn’t even know how to answer their question, “What can I do to help?”
I remember those first few months. I received cards, flowers and, yes, even offers of soup!
I wrote about my experiences and what I’ve learned to say now when they ask.
What can you add to my list of suggestions?
