    Disclaimer:

    1. All ideas below are only my opinion
    2. All information was taken from public Internet. There is not any spoiler here
    3. I am well qualified IT specialist (project manager, analytic) and don’t have any medical education
    4. I can be mistaken as any ordinary people
    5. English is my second language. So, be patient if you notice some mistakes

I think it is not possible to find ALS roots and create drug or therapy to correct them in nearest future. I think it will take up to 15-20 years. It is unbelievable long time for us and a lot of new patients.
On the other side researchers can do a few steps and let us live enough well long time.
We have example of such idea. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). It is not possible totally cure it, but they can live long time if they take some drugs.
    I see steps like:
    a) Find all ways how ALS reach moto neurons and what exactly destroys moto neurons
Target ALS project gathered a lot of data from ALS patients blood. It is possible to analyze it.
    b) Create drugs or therapies which can destroy and clear garbage before it reaches moto neurons
We have some examples for today. I’ll come to this later.
    c) Recover moto neurons in ALS patient’s body
As I understood Target ALS project could create moto neurons for research proposes, but I think this idea does not have a high priority. I think it is a big mistake.
    d) Recover muscles power
I tested Power Plate on myself. It worked very well, but of cause it is a good idea to research this.

I’ll try to write more details how do this steps fast next time…

Hello Igor, your posts are interesting! I appreciate you sharing the technical side, and the explanations.  You may not have many responses because, at this point, what you have shared – – no one can argue with. 🙂 I enjoy reading them – – so, write on! 🙂

    Dear Dagmar

I need help from some MD who can read post “Why ALS patients shouldn’t wait for fast appeared drug and therapies?” and gives his opinion about USP14.

I wrote to Amanda about this.

“no one can argue with” – probably yes, but if post don’t have replies I am not sure that anybody read it.

Igor – – the posts in this forum are read by many people. Don’t worry about number of views, or use it as a metric.

A suggestion, perhaps ending your topic post with a question, (such as: do forum members agree? or: anyone have more to add to this?) will help spur discussion.

@danielle be careful. It works well for sure and I felt well. But I don’t have any researches how it officially works for ALS patients.

We are on the one boat. I am looking for the way to solve our health problem. The first result is investments to speed up researches till human tests. It is a hard way, but …
