Before diagnosis I would use lots of protein powders for breakfast also use workout supplements. I had thought that it was the amino acids that started my fasiculations so stopped that first. Now I only eat regular foods. I did try Keto in the beginning but found that high protein low carb for me makes my fasiculations more intense. So now I eat way more carbs and atleast my fasiculations do not rattle me silly.

I do believe that we can heal ourselves. The question is can we find out what it is that will cure each of us individually. I don’t think one thing made each of us sick. I believe its a combination of things and finding out what reverses that is what is complicated.

I will have my second visit for qualification of the trial on the 24th of October. I am honored to be invited to try. The fact that I could get a placebo kinda sucks but glad I get the chance to try.
On different note:
I am really curious about the fecal transplant trial that I seen was going to be happening soon.

In the beginning the baclofin worked for making them more manageable. Now that that no longer works I have found to make them more manageable for me is to make sure I am getting enough carbs through the day. If I just eat protein I feel like I am being shook apart. So in the morning I will start off when I get up with English muffin to start with and my twitching seems to be calmer through the day. I have to manage what I eat or will feel like I am shook apart by the twitching.

I am still trying to wrap my head around all this exercise and not having enough time. I still jog about 00:11:30 min mile and I’m 5’11” so it is pretty slow. I am trying to work my way back up up in distance again after 3 week break. I was jogging about 2 miles. The funny thing is I almost jog better than I walk with my drop foot. I stretch (sometimes) morning and night my life is still so busy with work that I never have time for myself. I worry if I don’t exercise more that Ill depreciate quicker. I already have hard time on stairs.
