BAYADA Home Health Care to Support ALS Association in Fundraisers All Over US
Now in its second year as a Gold-level national partner, BAYADA Home Health Care will be supporting several initiatives by The ALS Association, including Walk to Defeat ALS to raise funds from events all across the nation in the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The ALS Association is focused on providing the best care services and supporting advocacy related issues and research to find cures and treatments to manage this life-altering and fatal disease.
They will also work closely with a number of the Association’s chapters on one-of-a-kind ventures in locales where the people are more familiar with and responsive to BAYADA such as in Greater Philadelphia, Western Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Greater New York and South Carolina.
BAYADA provides nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, hospice, and assistive care services to children, adults, and seniors in the comfort of their homes. “We are proud of our partnership with The ALS Association and the work we’re doing together to develop specialized trainings that meet the specific care needs of those living with ALS. We are humbled and grateful to help so many families affected by the disease to live their lives to the fullest,” affirmed Mark Baiada, who is the president and founder of BAYADA Home Health Care.
Barbara Newhouse, CEO and President of the ALS Association expressed in a press release their appreciation of BAYADA’s ongoing support: “Their continued collaboration with us will allow our organization to get closer to our vision of creating a world without ALS.”
“Our partnership with The ALS Association works because we are both guided by the same principles. For 40 years, BAYADA has followed the belief that if you do the right thing, positive outcomes will follow. When you have a partner that believes in the same philosophy, it is easy to find common solutions and meet our mutual needs. The trust between BAYADA and the very committed teams of professionals that we work with at The ALS Association ensures that our partnership has enduring value for both of us,” concluded Dave Totaro, Representative of BAYADA Home Health Care.
