  Numbness/hot and cold/stories for fundraiser

  I have a family member with ALS and she is complaining about the feeling of total body numbness. Does anyone here have experience caring for someone with this and what did you do for it?

  As well, my family member feels super hot and sweaty one second and then freezing cold the next. (She is not sweaty at all.) Again, does anyone here have experience caring for someone with this and what did you do for it?

  Also, I’m looking for stories for a fundraiser to raise money for ALS research.
