“Access to investigational treatments outside of clinical trials is possible through programs like the FDA’s Expanded Access or Compassionate Use program. Additionally, “Right to Try” laws at the state and federal level may allow patients and physicians to request access to investigational treatments directly from the manufacturer.” Are you using an investigational treatment or have you applied for access to one? What was that process like? How long did it take? Do you think it is making a difference?
