Responding to insensitive comments about ALS
I wrote a list of things that people should not say to someone with ALS on my Facebook page. It ended up being entertaining as others added to the list.
The list included things like saying, “Feel better soon!” or “Wishing you a speedy recovery!” Also, a get-well-soon card.
Have you ever experienced people asking or saying inappropriate things regarding ALS, your health, or medical treatments? How do you respond? This could be a fun list, too!
