Your top inspirational movies or movie characters from 2023
I enjoy watching movies that although they have nothing to do with ALS, still inspire me in some relatable way, about how I live with my ALS. Whether it’s a robot on Mars or a marathon swimmer, I can relate to their goals, setbacks, and dogged determination.
Documentaries about ALS patients are always inspiring, but mainstream movies can inspire us too.
What are your favorite movies from 2023?

I recently watched the movie (streaming on Netflix) “Nyad” a film about how Diana Nyad at the age of 60, and after 4 failed attempts, was able to swim from Cuba to Key West. This isn’t a documentary but told as a life story with all the ups and downs, challenges, change of plans, and determination that I could relate to. I recommend it.

I watched Nyad last week. Diana is a very determined lady. She is quite an inspiration.
