The breakthrough drug has been found to slow down the progression of ALS by up to a third in clinical trials in Japan and although best taken when first diagnosed, the drug can be prescribed at any point of the disease.

Radicava offers a real lifeline to people suffering from ALS and their families, as the extended life expectancy means they can spend more time with their loved ones. This is the first drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of ALS in more than two decades.

Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS and someone dies from the disease. Radicava will help to preserve muscle function for longer, allowing patients to continue with their lives for much longer.

This Drug is far from “new” and is only for those less than two years post diagnosis.
Its an 11 year old recycled drug that was originally in trials for stroke victims but it failed in three out of four trials.
In America it is a huge cost somewhere in the region of 140,000 dollars a year.
Its been in use in japan for many years.People still progressed, people still died.

We have experience. It works! No side effects. Needs to be taken every day (we infuse 6 days a week). The approved schedule is frustrating. Let insurance know.

Take Radicava to prolong your life UNTIL NurOwn has finished the 3rd clinical testing. Once it is cleared by the FDA we will have REAL hope!

my dad was diagnosed with ALS half a year already and he’s been waiting for Radicava for quite some time. All I can do is wish and hope for the best. Sadly the treatment is far too expensive that we aren’t able to afford it.

I was diagnosed 8 months ago..have been told by my Doctor that you have to have at least 80% lung capacity. Mine is less then that… Insurance will not cover then…Doctor told me of 200 patients he has only a few will qualify….shame…it just cost to much to help most of us.

My wife just got told the very same thing this last Monday. She has been around 51% for quite a while now. Need to wait for a pill to get approved though. The travel and time for radicava would be too much as it is!Ste
