Diane Huberty, a neuroscience RN and ALS patient (living with ALS for 30+ years!) created her own website to provide patients and caregivers with meaningful, first-hand insight on most issues that ALS throws at you.

She covers everything from home modification tips to personal accounts of the emotional adjustments and challenges to expect. She also has specific sections on choking, swallowing, feeding tubes, blood clots, muscle cramps and more.

This is good reading for our newly diagnosed members and their caregivers… I especially recommend Diane’s website for help in planning for: “What do we need to do now?”

Website name: ALS from Both Sides http://www.alsfrombothsides.org/index.html

Did you find this website helpful? What other questions about ALS do you have that weren’t answered here?
