Suggestions for drinking cups?
One of our members has the following question:
“I am looking for recommendations for the best sipping cup for patients with bulbar. My wife cannot suck on the straw or drink otherwise safely without choking.”
Do any of our members have ideas or suggestions that work for them?

When out and about, I bring along my pre-mixed (with Thick-it a powdered thickener) in a small sport bottle. I found it in the children’s section of the sport bottle area at Walmart. It’s easy for me to hold onto, isn’t a “tall” adult size drink, has an inner straw so I don’t have to tip it to drink and, the small flip-up drinking spout is comfortable in my mouth.
Lazar, you didn’t clarify if drinking liquids was difficult for your wife, or using a standard glass to drink?
