The many names of ALS
My family was very aware of what ALS and that it was the same disease as Lou Gehrig disease. However, I did not know it was also the same as MND until I started participating in ALS medical research. I was just thinking how confusing and overwhelming that can be. I did a google search to see if any other names were associated with ALS and I found an article from 2017 that captured exactly what I was thinking. I’ve only been working with the ALS News Today for a short time so I had not gone back to the 2017 articles yet.
