Young Artist Talks About Life With ALS

Alexis explains how important it is for caregivers to remember that while ALS may rob a person of their muscle function and speech, the disease does not affect the intelligence of a patient. She urges people not to speak to ALS patients as though they were children, but to approach them as they would any other person.
