Monica Torres Rivera is an ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and an ALS advocate, graduate student in criminology and criminal justice, and mother of six. Originally from Puerto Rico and now living in New York City, she is passionate about advancing accessibility, dignity, and equal rights for people with disabilities. Through her advocacy and lived experience with ALS, Monica is committed to helping others find hope, purpose, and community while reminding families that they are more than a diagnosis.
