  ALS Biomarkers

  Dr. Benatar is the Doctor that leads the research study I volunteer for at the University of Miami. One of the many things they do during each visit is collect samples that are used to attempt to identify biomarkers in ALS cases. http://med.miami.edu/news/biomarker-for-als-disease-progression-identified    Although I’m not in the medical field, and I find a lot of the research to be confusing with the medical terminology, I try to read and learn about what is happening in this study. Dr. Benatar is a fantastic and he always takes the time to explain things when I am there. This post was on the University’s website, and discusses biomarkers.
